Marijuana Smoking Linked to Psychosis

marijuana-smoke.jpg

This medical report doesn’t come to any surprise to me. Smoking marijuana is associated with higher rates of psychosis. I strongly believe psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia is totally demonic. It is also linked to depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders which I believe can be attributed to demons. Getting high on marijuana opens doorways for demons to come in a person. The shaman and witchdoctor can attest to this. A lot of rappers and rock ‘musicians’ are known to get high which allow the demons to come in and their musical abilities would be enhanced. There are many testimonies from the musicians themselves who admit they get abilities from some external agent [VIDEO].

There are testimonies of people totally healed of schizophrenia by the power and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ. This man tells his testimony of how a demon of schizophrenia left him [VIDEO]. This bolsters that demons are behind schizophrenia. No matter how much drugs a schizophrenic uses it never results in complete healing because it is, I believe, inherently a spiritual problem.

Getting high may feel good, like a lot of sins, but it comes with a price:

Teenagers and young adults who use marijuana may be messing with their heads in ways they don’t intend.

Evidence is mounting that regular marijuana use increases the chance that a teenager will develop psychosis, a pattern of unusual thoughts or perceptions, such as believing the television is transmitting secret messages. It also increases the risk of developing schizophrenia, a disabling brain disorder that not only causes psychosis, but also problems concentrating and loss of emotional expression.

In one recent study that followed nearly 2,000 teenagers as they Smoke rises from a marijuana cigarettebecame young adults, young people who smoked marijuana at least five times were twice as likely to have developed psychosis over the next 10 years as those who didn’t smoke pot.

Another new paper concluded that early marijuana use could actually hasten the onset of psychosis by three years. Those most at risk are youths who already have a mother, father, or sibling with schizophrenia or some other psychotic disorder.

Young people with a parent or sibling affected by psychosis have a roughly one in 10 chance of developing the condition themselves—even if they never smoke pot. Regular marijuana use, however, doubles their risk—to a one in five chance of becoming psychotic.

In comparison, youths in families unaffected by psychosis have a 7 in 1,000 chance of developing it. If they smoke pot regularly, the risk doubles, to 14 in 1,000.

For years, now, experts have been sounding the alarm about a possible link between marijuana use and psychosis. One of the best-known studies followed nearly 50,000 young Swedish soldiers for 15 years. Those who had smoked marijuana at least once were more than twice as likely to develop schizophrenia as those who had never smoked pot. The heaviest users (who said they used marijuana more than 50 times) were six times as likely to develop schizophrenia as the nonsmokers.

There is a reason why God forbids the use of drugs: it opens one up to the demonic. The Bible calls it sorcery. The witchdoctors, shamans will tell you that using drugs is one of the easiest ways to get in contact with the spirits…..

God considers it such a serious sin that those who practice sorcery will have their part in the lake of fire.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. – Rev. 21:8

If you are getting high I would repent of it and give your life to the Lord Jesus Christ.

If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you can receive Him into your heart and He can deliver you from darkness and sin and have your name written in His Book of Life.

If you are sincere you can say this simple prayer to the Father (it doesn’t have to be word for word):

“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. Please forgive me of all of my sins just as I forgive others. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart Jesus is Lord and was raised from the dead and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in the Lord and GOD Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”
