They are created beings.  In Colossians 1:16-17 it reads (speaking of Jesus): “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

And now I must return to fight with the prince of Persia; and when I have gone forth, indeed the prince of Greece will come.‘” The Bible refers to God as the LORD of hosts. The Lord Jesus Christ gives believers authority over the bad angels and the power to overcome them: “17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven (Luke 10:17-20).” In Revelation 12:10-11 it reads “10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

28. Bad angels will lie and deceive. Jesus said about satan:”He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it (8:44).”How would know if the angel is a bad angel? If the angel preaches a different message than the Bible. Galatians 1:8 reads” But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.” The Bible also reads satan masquerades or disguises himself: “14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:4).”
